comes after Makar Sankranthi
when the special workers are worshiped
for all their well being to live up in the fields
Kanuma Sankranthi is time for competitions
where, at times villages fight together to win
the competitors vary accordingly
be it oxen, be it cocks, it is all for fun
the elderly have a great time playing cards
when they win, they celebrate
when they loose, they also celebrate
not their failure, the success of their dear ones
