THE INDIAN WEDDING.....!!!

With God’s blessings,
Marriages are planned in Heaven
But just take place on Earth
In a country like India,
Just the three knots make two souls to be one
Those seven steps lead the couple
To every beauty of life and love

The couple love not to look at one another
But to look together at the same direction
For yesterday’s memories, today’s love
And tomorrow’s dreams
Of every one come true

A divine respect to the Indian Marriage
Is not for that Groom’s Sherwani
Or the Bride’s beautiful Lehenga
Neither for that special wedding Dinner
Nor for those different rituals and customs
That date back to 4000 years

It is just for the way we respect it
It is for our commitment to that relation
It is for that trust each of us have in it
It if for that GIFT OF LOVE

The gift of love that originates from parents
Strengthened by family and friends
Guided by the principles of ancestors
Decided by the Supreme Power
Accepted by the two beautiful hearts
Who are just made for each other

It brings a new gladness to the sunshine,
And a new fragrance to the flowers,
And new beauty to the earth,
A new mystery to life.

I go with the first comment. I once wrote this really really really sad poetry on wedding full bollywood style. marriage when lover is dying.. all that.

But I love your minimalistic work.
