Huh...when was I last here?? When did I last meet my Land of Dreams ?? When did last hold my pen?? Seems like its years...!!!

Where are my dreams

full of love and life

where are my wings

which always aimed to fly

where is my pen

full of thoughts

where is my'self '

full of energy

Lost in the woods

or the dark night sky

right amidst the stars

or in the day light?

bring me back

to my land of dreams

who else can

other than me?

Canvas in the first sight

For an artist it waits

For someone to stain

Every color stands out

Defining every stroke about

Sketch any dream

Beautiful it shall seem

Eternally empty board

Is the colors’ beloved abode

Speaks every language

Which the world can gauge

Admired of simplicity

Can be painted to eternity

Touching every soul

The world as a whole

Every stroke speaks

Artists’ feeling to the peak

But redefined is its beauty

As the beholder see

Frustrated Soul..!!

Its been so long
for a pat on the back
a star in the red ink

its been so long
for a winking eye
and dance in the rain

its been so long
for a walk alone
a movie marathon

its been so long
for a smile from heart
and the warm hug of a friend

its been so long
for a word from the quill
a stroke of the brush

All in all
I am frustrated

Smile v/s Power..!!

It's so true for many of us remember that 'always smiling' kindergarten teacher better than the 'Never smiling' professor at college. I believe that a 'true' smile is the face of love and ask anything with a smile, you get it (unless you ask for everything you shouldn't).

Thanks to BAT that I am atleast writing one piece in a month….else its been a writer’s block for a long time now J. Also, its been an even longer that I wrote some form of poetry, so choose to write a NONET this time. Read more about Nonet Here.

Before I started this post, I wanted to see what all did I post in BAT about. While I read, I felt that it has many times been a “story” but what I also got to know is that it’s going to be my seventh entry for BAT. I am so happy to have this theme for my 7^th post as the world has just seven basic colors VIBGYOR..!!

Yellows and reds on a canvas white 

With hint of green and blue skies 

Twinning beauty and elegance 

Hills of daffodils and 

Violet tulips 

Bring alive life's 

Freshly cool 

Splendor 

Light 

Light 

With grace 

Blends color 

Artistically 

Into a bouquet 

That’s just pleasantly white 

Lustering presence until 

A droplet unwraps the beauty 

To a rainbow that’s an artist’ s dream
