A "THANK YOU" MAKES A DIFFERENCE..!!

"Thank you"...we use this phrase almost everyday...!!

sometimes out of respect
sometimes out of love
sometimes out of formality.!!!

but a few days back, I realized that a "Thank you" from the bottom of your heart does makes a difference :)

Living in Pune, I inculcated the habit of thanking people for every small help that i got from them...!!!

Returning to Hyderabad, I carried this habit along bu one day it made me so happy for the same..!!!

One day i was traveling home in an auto Rickshaw...and when I reached my destination, i just got down, I gave him the money and said "Thank you Bhaiyya" and turned to leave.

"Madam ji" he called me back. I thought i gave less money and started to think i if i counted it right..!!!

But to my surprise, he returned all the money back and was smiling :)

"Kya hua bhaiyya??" I asked. (What hapened brother?)
"Madam, I have been driving auto rickshaw every day for the last seven years..I carried people of all classes and all ages...but you are the first one who thanked me for the same. It felt so good" I could feel the happiness he was then experiencing :)

"Madam, I will not charge you"
"But bhaiyya, I have to pay for your service"
"I want to remember this first thank you of my life, i dont want to make it regular. So for this time, dont pay me" he said this and left with a formal Hyderabadi Salaam :)

I really felt good that day....all the stress of the day was all gone..!!

I then realized A"THANK YOU" DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE :)

Hello Dreamers

How are you all doing?? Am here today in my Land of Dreams for a thank you post. Its been a long time that I had written a thank you post. Earlier it was for my blogger friends who constantly supported me. But friends, this is for a different reason.

I was ill with viral fever from the last five days. Today is the 6th day and am still not out of bed completely. During this time, I was also very depressed of being away from home and having no one to even help me out to have some food. There was a time when I decided to go home but that means to travel 600 Kms. So had to drop the idea too.

While i was suffering frm such physical and mental illnesses, i had some angels who constantly checked with me and reminded me that i have people who care for me.

The first and very important of such angels is Hemanth. He was there constantly messagin me on phone and asking me about how my health was. Even today, I wake up to see his good morning message followed my "How are you feeling now?" message.

Hemanth thanks a lot yaar. Every time i felt alone, your message brought me a smile. I got strength to go to the hospital though i was feeling very weak. I may not have gone to the doctor that day if you weren't behind me insisting to go the hospital. You dont know how much your messages meant to me while i was sick.

Next come my sweet sister, Pramoda. I am in her home now. Though she is busy with her office work, she constantly asks me about how my health is. Keeping beside the care she takes of me, I have someone to talk to. She is a sweet heart. I feel like am back home being here. If I am able to sit and blog today, that's b'coz of her. LOVE YOU Di...!!!

Amidst all of them, ow can i ever forget Leo. He is a friend who is always there to boost up my morale when its down. Leo knows that blogging makes me better. He reminds me that and encourages me to write..so that atleast for a while i can forget that i am ill. Leo, you are true. Blogging makes me feel better. Thanks da..!!!

Above all, Thanks to each and everyone who cared for me during this boring sickness and prayed for my wellness..thank you all..!!

WOW...I DID IT..!!!

A Marathon of Acrostics has come to an end. It has been a wonderful experience writing all along. Specially the second set of words of A-Z Challenge. 18 words posted in the last 18 hrs. 1 post per hour...wow..!!!

Thanks to Leo for the words and his constant encouragement which helped me complete the marathon of blogging. Thank you Vinay..!!

May 2010...has left me many memories :

• Completed my 300 dreams milestone.
• 70 posts already in just 28 days...i never imagined.
• Started a new series "Your's Truly Me"
• Wrote my first 55 fiction
• blogging every hour.....still continuing...!!

In my personal Life

• Completed my First year of Post Graduation
• Started to live in our flat, left hostel. Living in a flat is a different experience.
• Am now at home...enjoying with mom dad and sis
• Its my best friend's birthday and marriage tomorrow(Swathi of Octaves)
• Reading a lot of books and also read some wonderful books this month

Wow...to me its an achievement....I think its time for celebration..!!! I wish all my blogger friends join me in this celebration...!!!

Dont worry I will not stop...My quill still has ink..my heart still has love...my mind still has thoughts...to share with wonderful people like you..!!!

MARK OF CELEBRATIONS OF 300 DREAMS..!!

Hello visitors...I thank each one of you for being there with me in reaching this milestone of 300 and i promise many more to go...!!!

My biggest thank you to Leo aka Vinay who has always been there all through the journey...thanks vinay...!!! you make me write better every time...you are responsible for me reaching this far so soon...(it took me 1 year to do my 200th while 1 year to do my next 100). you are a friend i would treasure all my life..!!

Also thanks to each and every dreamer who had visited this Land of Dreams atleast once and all those who inspired me to write better...thanks friends...you are definitely special to me..!!

As a mark of 300 dreams, I decided to change my Pen name...its not because Yamini Meduri was not good....its obviously the best....but just for a change....!!

After 300 dreams, each dream is special so here comes my new pen name...am now Ms.Meduri..!!!

Ms. Meduri will help me write as often as I can...with special dreams, making this Land of Dreams still more special..!!!

HELLO FRIENDS...!!!

Hello Friends...!!!

How are you all doing??? hope everything is going good at your side...!!! Dont ask abt me...my life is always BINDAAS...and happy..!!!

Today, i am here to share with you my feelings...about everything...!!! I dont know why did i ever start to blog.....may be the main reason was to find someone reading my poems that i just started to write then...By the time i started to blog, i just wrote ten poems.....yeah, i started writing just two years back and blogging less than an year back..!!!

I wanted someone to read me and comment on my work....so that i can improve...!!! Also, blogging was earlier a passtime for me, but now its a part of my life...all you wonderful people here encouraged me and inspired me to write more and more...and today i am with a collection of nearly 200 poems (not counted exactly ;)...)...!!!

I personally thank each one of you here for your continous encouragement and non stop comments...!!! Thanks a ton friends..!!!

In fact after nearly an year passed, i find that I made a new family where every member is my friend...and i am proud of it...thanks for being there friends...!!!

okok...i can understand..i must be boring you....so, lets change the posting theme now..!!!

150 Dreams... The Brilliance Continues...

Today, the Land of Dreams reaches 150 posts. And I get the honour of being the first guest blogger here. This is also my first guest post ever.

I am not sure how long it has been since I met the wonderful blogger Yamini Meduri. It was sometime in October 08 i guess. She used to be known as DilMainHainPyar those days and she got to my blog from a friends blogroll. As time passed by, I got to know her real name, and we ended up becoming fast friends.

Yamini, your old pen name suited you. Your heart is indeed full of love. And the poems in your blog prove that. Love for your parents, your friends and just the pure love for poetry. Indeed, any person who has a frown on his face, all he needs to do is look at your smile, and he will forget what was troubling him. You are always willing to share our troubles and make us smile. No wonder I nicknamed you Smiley!

You are always there to help out when needed. If it is in your capacity to do, you are willing to do it. Frankly, I can say that there are very few people out there who would be willing to do this. With a big heart to take shelter, you always make friends so happy and enjoyable to just be with you and talk to you. You always hear us out and then help us solve our problem.

You are very versatile. Not only do you write quite good poetry, you are just brilliant at art. You just take my breath away with those pencil sketchings of yours. Especially the Radha Krishna pictures. If I had a photo of myself that was clear enough, I would give it to you, so you could sketch me. You are that good...! You also are very talented at that craftwork. Super handiwork you have!

You are a terrific social worker. The work you have done with Project Akanksha and for it, is quite commendable. And I have found you to be a honest blogger. You write from the heart always, and sometimes just hitting out on issues that you find dear to you.

Some friendships are long distance. But with you it is not. Seriously, when you are touching hearts with your words, no one will feel any distance at all. Though sometimes I do wish you were closeby, so I could give you a bear hug and lift you into the air! :)

Your friendship has that effect sometimes.

hello friends....this is my 100th post. i wanted to make it a special one and was thinking about what to post since 1 week now. but couldnot think of anything. My Gang...OCTAVES suggested me to write a poem about my dream boy, about our gang, or something about me, or something about life(inspirational) etc. But i thought i will write about my special friends here, on this blogger world. i would like to share with you the journey of my time in my Land Of Dreams.

it was long back that i read an article about blogs and found them interesting. till then, i never knew what a blog meant. i felt to have a blog for myself but forgot the idea after a little time. but one day my cousin, PRAMS told me about her blog and i visited it. it was a great experience to read it. To me it felt like living in our own way, no matter what the rest of the world thinks. then i started my blog. it was titled "MY DREAMS MY LIFE" first but now it changed to "LAND OF DREAMS". a beautiful place since the time of its creation. i soon started posting the poems that i wrote from a very before.

there were no visitors to my blog except Octaves....Sukku is a regular reader of my blog. she has read all my 99 posts and i am sure she will read this one too. but to me, i wanted someone else to read my blog too. then, i was made happy by my online friend, Satyajit who read my posts and from then on he calls me, "GENIUS" ha ha ha.....i am glad for having him in my friends list.

i was about to leave this place, but i came across someone whom i never knew....but now, one of ma best friends.....a special visitor always. he is Hemanth and i cant tell you how happy i was to see someone unknown to comment on my blog.

from then, i never turned back. i met many friends here and reading their blogs inspired me to write more. i was happy all the time for having having them in my life. and friends, my blog has become the part of my life. i started 3 more blogs, one for articles i write, other for pictures, another for my native home.

all through this journey, the best part was my "INDI BLOG MONTH" when i realized how beautiful our country is and how great we are to be for being the citizen of INDIA.

today, on this 100th post of mine, i am glad to celebrate it with joy and happiness with all you wonderful people. thank you for being there and never stop visiting my Land of Dreams...with you, my place is nothing than just a being place.

hi Friends.....this is it. i am done with my Indi Blog. all this month i was all the time thinking about my motherland and explored its beauty. i have never known before that India was this beautiful and a wonderful place to live in.
